Le Mas de Luna is ideally situated. Walking around the hamlet you will discover the beautiful landscape and the view of Uzès, with the towers of the Duché built in the 15th century. A five minutes drive takes you to this interesting town where every house has a history and where the Saturday Provençal market is tipical and very attractive.
Just 10 minutes away by car the famous “Pont du Gard”, a remarkable Roman aqueduct over “Le Gardon”, where you can go canoeing.
Many other historical and culturally famous places are nearby such as Avignon, the medieval walled city with its “Palais des Papes”, Nîmes and Arles with their Roman Arenas. Arles was loved by the painter Van Gogh and it is featured in many of his paintings as is Saint-Remy- de-Provence where many Roman remains were found.
